I was very happy and contented all day long serving people with food, conversations and happiness.
Karen and Eric plus all earth care volunteers have done a great job for putting this event on from planning, organising and running until the putting away of all tables and chairs at the end of the day.
I was amazed at the great community spirit at the end of the day, there were plenty of smiling faces washing up in the kitchen, putting the door back on the building and putting the dishes away, where they belonged…
The day was filled with love, joy and laughter. Connections with not only the earth but people in between as well. It was truly earth day with pockets filled with joy and love. This is a truly community day out. So many happy faces and so many happy hearts.
I was so inspired by Dick, at 94 years old, earthcare member, who energetically and joyfully talking to people about his passion for the earth that always produces plenty to us. The joyfull showing of his peace and contentment in the garden was memorable.
