I was lucky to be the facilitator at Reyne and Peter’s place. I was happy to organise the fuel for the willing volunteers on the day. Penny and I put the lunch together, everyone was so happy. Plus Tom and Fennina made gluten free pancakes with stewed fruit. The kids even scoffed down the stewed fruit.
Now they have a food forest orchard, banana circle and vege patch. Completion of the blitz is just the start of Peter and Reyne’s urban farm journey. With 24 people helping the getting started with a vege garden all happens in a day.
