Crispy Tofu wrap

Prepared as a tasty morsel for the High Tea Chan workshop. Taking High Tea in a cultural creative turn.

Ingredients

  • 500g pack of certified organic Tofu
  • 4 tablespoons Mushroom thick sauce
  • 1 cup Parsley
  • 15 large spring roll skins
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Method

  • cut the tofu block into 15 slices from the end.
  • marinate the slices in the mushroom sauce, with the parsley and pepper for 15 minutes.
  • Separate the spring roll skins
  • place the tofu onto the skin and wrap.
  • Have a small bowl of water close by to wet the roll on the edge to stick them down.
  • Heat the oil and pan fry the spring rolls until evenly golden brown.
