The nutrient density of fresh raw greens with a tangy dressing
Ingredients
- Fresh home grown lettuce leaves
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1/3 cup fresh lime or lemon
- 1 cup of mint leaf
- ½ cup of dates
- 1 cup of mix nuts
- 3 cups of water
- 2 chillies
Method
- Soak nuts and dates 6 hours or over night
- In a blender, on high speed, nicely blend all ingredients, except Chilli well
- Pour into an individual serving bowl/glass
- Finely chop the chilli and as an option
- On a large plate, Placed the dip in the middle and artfully arrange the lettuce around
