Green PawPaw pockets

Prepared as a tasty morsel for the High Tea Chan workshop. Taking High Tea in a cultural creative turn.

Ingredients

  • Tofu skin pockets 1 pack
  • Fresh Green paw paw 1 cups
  • Carrot 1 medium
  • Chilli (optional) 1
  • Cashew/peanut nuts 1/4 cup
  • Cherry Tomato 1/2 cup
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Lemon/lime juice 1/2 small lemon
  • Organic raw Sugar 1/2 table spoon
  • Soy sauce 3 table spoons

Method

  • Peeled and grate pawpaw into thin strips
  • Grate carrot into thin strips
  • Cut tomatoes into half
  • In a Mortar, add chilli, garlic and nuts, roughly grind these with the pestle
  • Add paw paw, carrot, tomato, soy sauce, lemon juice and sugar, then gently mix all ingredients through with the pestle
  • spoon fill the tofu pockets with the yummy salad.
